Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TextTap (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

TextTap is an iOS keyboard extension application that allows users to:

• Create and store text templates locally on their device
• Organize templates using categories and tags
• Access templates through a custom keyboard extension
• Insert templates into any text field across iOS applications

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the app on devices you own or control
• Use the app for personal or professional purposes
• Create and manage text templates for your own use

Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the app
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app’s systems
• Distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the app
• Use the app in any way that violates Apple’s App Store terms
• Create templates containing illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content

Purchase and Payment

TextTap is a paid application available through the Apple App Store:

• One-Time Purchase: You pay once to download and use the app
• No Subscriptions: There are no recurring charges (in current version)
• Refunds: Refund requests are subject to Apple’s App Store refund policy
• Pricing: App pricing is set in the App Store and may vary by region
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple, Inc.

We do not process or store any payment information. All transactions are handled by Apple through the App Store.

User Content

You are solely responsible for:

• The content of templates you create
• Ensuring your templates do not violate any laws or third-party rights
• The security and backup of your templates
• Any consequences of using or sharing your templates

We do not:

• Monitor, review, or control the content of your templates
• Have access to your templates
• Bear any responsibility for the content you create

Intellectual Property

Our Rights:

• TextTap, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by us
• The TextTap name, logo, and trademarks are our property
• The app’s code and proprietary technology are protected by copyright

Your Rights:

• You retain all rights to the content of templates you create
• We claim no ownership over your templates or data

No Warranty

TextTap is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy or reliability of results

We do not warrant that:

• The app will meet your specific requirements
• The app will be available at all times
• All errors or bugs will be corrected
• The app is compatible with all devices or iOS versions

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We shall not be liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Data and Privacy

• All data you create in TextTap remains on your device
• We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information
• See our Privacy Policy for complete details on data handling
• You are responsible for backing up your data

Device Requirements

TextTap requires:

• iOS 26.0 or later
• Sufficient storage space
• Keyboard extension must be enabled in iOS Settings

Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the app at any time
• Update these Terms of Use with notice to users
• Add, modify, or remove features through app updates
• Change pricing for future versions

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Termination

You may terminate: Delete the app from your device at any time

We may terminate or suspend your access if you:

• Violate these Terms of Use
• Use the app for illegal purposes
• Attempt to harm the app or other users

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the app ends immediately
• You must delete the app from all devices
• All locally stored data will be deleted when you remove the app

Age Requirements

TextTap is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. However:

• Users under 13 should have parental consent to use iOS devices
• Parents are responsible for monitoring their children’s use
• We do not knowingly collect data from children (we don’t collect data from anyone)

Apple App Store

Your use of TextTap is also subject to:

• Apple’s App Store Terms of Service
• iOS Software License Agreement
• Apple’s usage rules for App Store content

In case of conflict, Apple’s terms take precedence where required by law.

Third-Party Services

TextTap does not currently integrate with third-party services. If future versions do:

• We will update these Terms
• Third-party services will have their own terms
• We are not responsible for third-party service terms or actions

Governing Law and Disputes

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia

Dispute Resolution:

• Informal resolution: Contact us first to resolve disputes
• Jurisdiction: Courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction
• No class actions: Disputes must be brought individually

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the app
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content of templates you create

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding TextTap, and supersede any prior agreements.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid:

• That provision will be modified to reflect the parties’ intention
• Other provisions will remain in full force and effect

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

By using TextTap, you acknowledge that:

• You have read and understood these Terms
