Keyboard Permissions

TextTap includes a custom keyboard extension. Here’s what you need to know:

• No “Full Access” Required: Unlike many keyboard apps, TextTap does NOT require “Full Access” permission
• Limited Functionality: The keyboard can only access templates stored in the shared app container on your device
• No Internet Access: The keyboard extension cannot and does not connect to the internet
• No Keylogging: We do not record or transmit anything you type

Data You Create

When you use TextTap, you create:

• Templates: Text snippets you save for reuse
• Categories: Folders to organize your templates
• Tags: Keywords to help find templates

This data:

• Remains on your device only
• Is under your complete control
• Can be deleted at any time through the app’s settings
• Is not accessible to us or any third party

Children’s Privacy

TextTap is safe for users of all ages (4+):

• We do not collect any information from children
• We do not collect any information from anyone
• The app contains no advertising or in-app purchases that could affect children

If you delete TextTap:

• All your templates and data are permanently deleted from your device
